Languages are blessing

 

       Story telling is the best way to make things understand, that’s what I believe. They can directly use to make understand what we can’t get with just words. Let’s go to today’s fictional story.

       There was one girl who use to study in a local language school. She was very clever in her studies. She grew up to be a professional person. She worked hard to reach at higher post. She worked ethically in her professional life. One day her hard work was seen and she got transfer to metro city. there also she worked hard but the only obstacle was language. correction, not language but dialect. She belonged to the same state, knows the same language but the dialect was different. the people there at the office were not ready to have converse with her just because of her dialect. they use say anything to her and belittle her every time she wants to say something.

      Few days she tried to learn new dialect, but after few days she thought that all the staff there knew her language, they can understand what she speaks. their language is same then why do the dialect makes different. one day, one staff member came to her and told her to change her dialect if she wants to make place in the office. the girl asked that person that would you change your dialect if you all go to my place. To which the person replied no and told I’m proud of my language and I will never change it. The girl than asked why am I asked to change my dialect which is not at all a problem. Everyone here can understand my language and my work should be important and not my language.

   She was one of the best working employee in office. This conversation reached to head person and he gave thought to it. After that the head called meeting and told everyone that if anyone who joins the office and our language is same then that person will not be forced to change the dialect.

 In the meeting the girl told everyone,

    Languages, scripts and dialects are blessing to us. We can communicate with each other just because we know languages. We never thought what if there were no languages??? What if our ancestors never gave scripts to learn languages???? Why we use our words to belittle anyone. Why we choose to speak something which is insulting to someone. Why we are always using sarcasm?

     My point here with this blog is all languages are important in the world. We should be proud of our language. Yes, if anyone personally wants to learn any new language for their upliftment then its their choice but that doesn’t mean that person has right to misuse that language to insult other person. I’m not talking about any culture here, it’s all about language.
